Today I had the pleasure of playing around with Crayon Easy Access, an extension for Microsoft CRM. As I have played an important role in the product development, it is one of my babies :) And it is always good to see the products is like you planned it.
So what is Crayon Easy Access?
Crayon Easy Access is an extension for Microsoft CRM that enables CRM to be linked with other datasources for different reasons. For example, you can search and import leads, accounts or contacts from different sources, most notably 1881(norwegian white pages). The solution could also be connected to payment indexes, as well as sources for complete different functionality. Let´s say you want to plan a trip to visit some of your customers. Why don´t let Microsoft CRM plan this for you! Crayon Easy Access could be connected to sources for flightinformation and hotels, to plan your flights and hotel. With the integration with 1881, we also have location based services. Meaning we know how far apart your customers are located (if you want to drive to them) or if there is any restaurants close to your customer (if you want to take him for lunch or dinner).
We also deliver information from different websites about your customer. If your customer has been in the headlines recently, you know.
Crayon Easy Access is in many ways a framework where we can build functionality into Microsoft CRM.
